Academic Evaluation Services, Inc. was created by a group of international education professionals with extensive experience in the areas of international admissions, foreign student advising, foreign credential evaluations, university placement, and translations.

  • Our mission is to provide fast accurate services to individuals in need of evaluation and/or translation of foreign academic credentials so that they may further their education and professional careers in the United States.

  • Our objectives are to provide academic evaluations to those educated outside the United States while at the same time setting an example of good business ethics and practices within our local community as well as within the international academic community, both in the United States and internationally.

Open Position: Senior Evaluator

Minimum Qualifications:

· Candidate must have had at least five years of full-time (or the equivalent) experience in foreign educational credential evaluation, covering all levels of education.
· The candidate’s experience must have been acquired as an employee of an academic institution in the United States that holds regional academic accreditation, or as a former employee of a NACES member.
· Candidate must be willing to relocate to Tampa, Florida.

Required Skills:

· Ability to work independently
· Ability to review the work of others and supervise Junior and In-Training Evaluators

Job Description:

· The candidate will be responsible for examining and evaluating complex foreign academic and professional records/credentials of international applicants for multiple purposes.
· The candidate will be expected to maintain significant appropriate contacts with professional associations in the professional fields for which our company evaluates foreign educational credentials for purposes of certification, licensure, registration, employment, or professional membership.
· The candidate will be expected to keep up to date with changes in educational systems in other countries.
· The candidate will be expected to maintain and improve, as necessary, procedures for identifying foreign educational credentials that are not authentic, and refuse to prepare an evaluation report based upon such credentials.
· The candidate will be expected to work with the Director and Lead Senior Evaluator to supervise Junior and In-Training Evaluators and support staff and have ultimate responsibility for evaluations.

Compensation information:

· Salary is commensurate with experience. Relocation is negotiable.
